RUSSIAN airstrikes focused websites in Kyiv with an early morning blitzkrieg yesterday, as Vladimir Putin needs “only death and destruction”.

Several stories of Russian strikes on essential infrastructure throughout Ukraine have emerged on Monday, together with the capital Kyiv, as Vladimir Putin continued to double down on the Ukraine war.

A Ukrainian international ministry spokesman wrote on Twitter: “Morning begins with air defence sirens all throughout Ukraine. Russian missiles hit vitality infrastructure in Kyiv and different cities, inflicting electrical energy and water outages.

“Russia is not interested in peace talks, nor in global food security. Putin’s only goal is death and destruction.”

Meanwhile, Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitchsko mentioned 40 per cent of residents within the capital had been left with out water “due to the damage to a power facility near the city” as “270,000 apartments in the capital are without electricity”.
