WESTERN leaders have condemned Russia for the suspension of the UN-brokered Black Sea grain settlement, as the Kremlin blames Ukraine for the choice.
The settlement was brokered earlier in Russia’s brutal invasion of Ukraine and allowed grain ships to export produce to international locations throughout the globe.
Russia has claimed this suspension is due to a drone strike dedicated by Ukraine on Crimea this Saturday, Kyiv has since slammed the Kremlin for creating “fictitious terrorist attacks.”
Western leaders have rallied behind Ukraine, as they name for the deal to be resumed.
President Joe Biden branded the suspension “purely outrageous”, whereas EU international coverage chief, Josep Borrell accused Russia of “weaponizing food.”
