And more importantly, that any countermeasures to Glaze will be so expensive that they will not happen — that will not be applied in mass,” he goes on. “For the massive majority of artists on the market, if they will defend themselves and have a safety impact that’s costly to take away then it implies that, for probably the most half — for the massive majority of them — it is not going to be worthwhile for an attacker to undergo that computation on a per picture foundation to attempt to build sufficient clear photos that they will attempt to mimic their artwork.

“So that’s our goal — to raise the bar so high that attackers or, you know, people who are trying to mimic art, will just find it easier to go do something else.”
